1141.03 PERMIT APPLICATION; PLANS.
   Any owner who desires to construct or erect a satellite dish-type earth station may apply to the Building Department for a permit. A part-owner or tenant must have written permission of the owner of the property on which the construction of the proposed earth station satellite will take place. The applicant shall submit a plot plan of the lot, premises or parcel of land showing the exact location of the proposed earth station and the location of all buildings on the subject lot, a description of the kind of earth station dish proposed and three complete sets of construction plans, specifications and elevations of the proposed location with sufficient details to show the method of assembly and construction. Each set of plans and specifications shall show the complete name and address of the subject property owner and the complete name and address of the person who prepared the plans and specifications. The application shall indicate the owner or owners of the subject property, the occupant and the contractor or person who will be permitted to construct the proposed satellite dish earth station and who shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the regulations of the City. All construction plans shall be certified with a professional engineer’s stamp. However, a resident who proposes to construct the earth station by himself or herself shall not be required to have his or her construction plans certified by a professional engineer or employ a licensed contractor for such construction.
