For the purposes of this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
(a) "Garbage" means every waste or refuse of animal, fruit or vegetable matter, liquid or otherwise, that attends the preparation, use, cooking, dealing in or storage of meat, fish, fowl, fruit or vegetables.
(b) "Mechanical garbage disposer" means a motorized device, suitable for installation under and in direct connection with a kitchen sink, that comminutes garbage to such a size as to be readily water-borne and causes the discharge of the comminuted garbage directly into a sanitary sewerage system.
(c) "Dwelling unit" means a family residence permitted under the Zoning Code. (Ord. 41-1982. Passed 5-24-82.)
