Any person holding a registration or permit from the City who violates any of the laws of the State, the ordinances of the City or any rules or regulations prescribed by law or ordinance shall, upon notice from the Building Commissioner, correct the work. If the work is not corrected within fifteen days after such notice is given, the Municipality may cause such work to be corrected and collect the cost thereof from the contractor or upon his bond, or from the permittee.
