(a) Revocation. A contractors registration may be revoked or suspended at any time by the Building Commissioner for any violation of this Building Code or ordinances or other laws or rules or regulations of the City, or other just cause which the Commissioner in his sole discretion believes constitutes a danger or safety risk to persons or property in the City including but not limited to the causes listed in Section 1127.07.

(b) Appeal to Planning, Zoning, and Building Committee of Council. No contractor deemed by the Building Commissioner or his designee to be in violation of the requirements hereof shall be permitted to perform any work whatsoever within the City. Applicants may appeal any decision of the Building Commissioner to the Planning, Zoning and Building Committee of Council at no cost. Appeals must be made within ten days of the Commissioner’s decision. (Ord. 79-2000. Passed 12-11-00.)
