Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted for the City Chapters 4101:2-56 to 4401:2-69 of the Ohio Administrative Code which shall be known as the “Ohio Plumbing Code” (which incorporates the International Plumbing Code) of the Ohio Basic Building Code and all amendments to said Code as subsequently modified, promulgated and enacted. The design, erection, installation, alteration, repairs, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems and equipment shall comply with the requirements of this code. These standards shall be implemented and applied forthwith. The Ohio Plumbing Code shall be enforced and operated under the supervision of the Building Department of the City. A complete copy of such Code shall be kept on file in the office of the Clerk of Council, in the office of the Building Inspector, and in the County Law Library.
