Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is adopted for the City, for the purpose of the practical safeguarding of persons and property from hazards arising from the use of natural gas on public and private buildings or other structures within the City, that certain Standard known as the American National Standard Z2166, Electrically Operated Vent Damper Devices for Use on Gas Fired Appliances, adopted by the American Gas Association, save and except such portions as may be hereinafter deleted, modified or amended. A complete copy of such Standard shall be kept on file in the office of the Clerk of Council, the office of the Building Commissioner, and in the County Law Library.
