1101.021 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
Under the provisions of Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted for the City, for the purpose of the practical safeguarding of persons and property in the City from hazards arising from the use of electricity in public and private buildings or other structures within the City, that certain code known as the National Electrical Code and all amendments to said National Electrical Code as subsequently modified, promulgated, and enacted by the National Fire Protection Association, save and except such portions as may be hereinafter deleted or modified. All wiring, both residential and commercial, must meet the necessary requirements as adopted by the State Board of Building Standards. Wherever reference in the Seven Hills Codified Ordinances is made to the National Electrical Code, such reference shall include all subsequent amendments and modifications, as subsequently modified, promulgated, and enacted by the National Fire Protection Association. A complete copy of such Code shall be kept on file in the office of the Clerk of Council, in the office of the Building Inspector, and in the County Law Library. (Ord. 57-1996. Passed 7-22-96.)
