Any owner, contractor, architect, subcontractor, mechanic, firm, corporation or other person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or imprisoned for not more than six months or both. Each day a violation or noncompliance with such provisions continues shall constitute a separate offense.
