There is hereby adopted by the City the BOCA Building and Fire Codes of the State of Ohio, and these standards shall be complied with except where these Codified Ordinances or any other Code adopted under this chapter is more restrictive, in which instance the more restrictive ordinance or Code will prevail.
The BOCA Fire Codes shall be enforced by the Bureau of Fire Prevention and the City Fire Department and shall be operated under the supervision of the Chief of the Fire Department.
The BOCA Building Codes shall be enforced by the Building Department of the City and shall be operated under the supervision of the Building Commissioner.
