(a) Snow fences of the wood picket type or any other type shall not be installed or erected within the limits of a front, side or rear yard before October 15, of any year, and all snow fences shall be taken down and removed by May 1, of the immediately following year. Only one (1) snow fence is permitted along the driveway. No permit fee shall be charged for the installation of a snow fence and provisions of Chapter 997 do not pertain to snow fences.

(b) No person shall construct, erect, maintain or use, for any purpose, any fence charged with electrical current, within the corporate limits.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
