2-1-1: PURPOSE; CREATION:
In order that adequate provisions be made for the development of a planning program for the guidance, direction and control of the growth and development or redevelopment of the Village and contiguous territory within one and one-half (11/2) miles of the corporate limits and not included in any municipality, a Plan Commission is hereby created under authority of the Illinois Municipal Code 1 . (Ord. 91-19, 12-17-1991)
