The international building code, 2012 edition, and the international residential code, 2012 edition, are hereby adopted as the building code of the village of Seneca, LaSalle and Grundy Counties, in the state of Illinois; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the international building code, 2012 edition, and the international residential code, 2012 edition, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this section, and all future editions of the international building code and international residential code, as published by the International Code Council.
