A. No person shall discharge any firearms or do any hunting in the Village. This shall not apply to peace officers in the line of duty, or any person acting in self-defense. Notwithstanding the forgoing, bow hunting shall be allowed in the Village if and only if:
1. Such activity takes place on a parcel of real estate no less than thirty (30) acres in size;
2. Such activity takes place only during the appropriate hunting season;
3. Such activity is conducted only by persons holding a valid hunting license; and
4. All rules and regulations promulgated by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources are followed at all times. (Ord. 17-10, 3-21-2017)
