3-8-7: CLASSES OF LICENSES; NUMBER; FEES:
A license issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be one of the classes described in this section and shall be dated May 1, and shall expire April 30 of the following year. The fee shall be the amount specified and shall cover the period from the actual date of issuance to April 30 of the following year. No part of a fee may be transferred to, or applied upon, the license of a new owner or any other person.
   A.   Class A: Where alcoholic liquors are sold either for consumption upon the premises or in the original package, the license fee shall be eight hundred dollars ($800.00) per year. Package sales shall not be consumed upon the premises. There are twelve (12) Class A licenses.
   B.   Class B: Where alcoholic liquors are sold in the original package and not for consumption on the premises, the fee shall be six hundred dollars ($600.00) per year.
   C.   Class C: Where alcoholic liquors are sold in a club, licenses shall be three hundred dollars ($300.00) per year.
   D.   Class D: A Class D club license shall mean an association, organization, corporation or other group of individuals organized for a common object, whether for social, recreational, literary, philanthropic, benevolent, fellowship or such other similar purposes; liquor sales shall be restricted to members and their guests, and liquor sales to the general public are prohibited.
There shall be only one Class D club license issued, and the fee for said license shall be three hundred dollars ($300.00).
   E.   Class E: The annual license fee for a Class E license, for the sale of alcoholic liquor to be consumed solely on the premises where the sale and consumption of food is the primary business conducted therein, shall be the sum of five hundred dollars ($500.00).
It shall be unlawful for a licensee holding a Class E retail license to sell alcoholic liquor except to a patron who is purchasing or consuming food on the premises.
   F.   Class F: Where alcoholic liquors are sold in facilities used primarily for banquets, wedding receptions, meetings and similar catered events, for consumption only during scheduled functions on the designated premises. The annual fee for a Class F license shall be nine hundred dollars ($900.00) and shall be payable in full when the application for a license is filed. This license shall not be available to any facility that serves meals to the public on an individual basis, such as a restaurant or similar business.
   G.   Number Of Licenses: The Council herein reserves the right and power to limit the number of licenses to be issued within the corporate limits of the Village in accordance with the public interest.
