A. There is hereby established a village park board that will consist of nine (9) members, who shall each serve for a four (4) year term. Of the nine (9) members, at least seven (7) shall reside in the municipality and up to two (2) others may reside outside the municipality, provided they reside within the Seneca Grade School tax district.
B. The mayor with the advice and consent of the village council shall appoint board members to their respective terms in April of each year. In the appointment of new board members, the mayor and council shall request recommendations from the existing park board.
C. Once established, the park board may adopt rules and regulations for operation of the parks that are not inconsistent with this chapter. (Ord. 01-27, 10-16-2001; amd. Ord. 10-05, 4-20-2010; Ord. 22-06, 5-3-2022)
