It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot, fire or discharge any gun or pistol (including, but not limited to, B-B guns, air rifles, pellet guns or paintball guns) within the town limits. This section shall not apply to law enforcement or military personnel performing their duty or to any person defending his, her or their life, liberty or property.
