351.13 PROHIBITION OF PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS.
   (a)   No person shall park a school bus, commercial tractor, truck of more than one ton capacity, bus, trailer, semi-trailer, pole trailer or moving van on any street within the residential districts of the Municipality without first having obtained a limited use parking permit from the Chief of Police.
   (b)   The Chief of Police shall issue a limited use parking permit for the parking of a commercial vehicle on a street in a residential district if any of the following apply:
      (1)   The commercial vehicle is a public utility vehicle used for a legitimate commercial purpose during regular scheduled working hours or in time of an emergency.
      (2)   The commercial vehicle is being used for the construction, reconstruction or remodeling of a residential dwelling or approved accessory building.
      (3)   The commercial vehicle is being used for the loading or unloading of the contents of a family household situated in the immediate area.

   (c)   No person shall park any commercial vehicle, tractor, trailer, tractor-trailer combination, any vehicle with three or more axles unless it is parked inside a building with permission of the owner or the residential property.

   (d)   No person shall park a commercial tractor designed to be attached to a tractor or semi-tractor on a residentially zoned property within the limits of the Municipality of Sebring.
   (e)   A violation of any provision of this section shall constitute a minor misdemeanor. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. (Ord. 07-06. Passed 2-28-06.)
