To provide funds for the purposes of general municipal operations, maintenance, new equipment and capital improvements of the Municipality of Sebring, there shall be and is hereby levied a tax on income, salaries, qualifying wages, commissions and other compensation and on net profits as hereinafter provided in Ordinance 865-65, passed 11-29-65, and as subsequently amended from time to time.
