"Street" means a public thoroughfare more than twenty feet wide; provided, however, that any existing thoroughfare less than twenty feet wide, generally known as a street at the time of the passage of this Zoning Ordinance, shall be considered to be a street for the purpose of this Zoning Ordinance.
