1131.12 HALF STORY.

A "half-story" is a story which is situated under a sloping roof, the floor area of which does not exceed one-half of the floor area of the floor immediately below it and which does not contain an independent apartment. A half story shall not be counted as a story for the purpose of determining yard dimensions.
