(a) Anyone who owns property within the corporation limits of Sebring must formally petition the Council to extend water mains and/or trunk sewer lines.
(b) Said petition will include a two hundred dollar ($200.00) fee. Said fee is refunded once project begins and assessment is paid in full.
(c) The petitioning property owner will be assessed ten dollars ($10.00) per foot for each lot or lots requiring the extension of a water main. Said assessment will include a water tap.
(d) The petitioning property owner will be assessed ten dollars ($10.00) per foot for each lot or lots requiring the extension of a trunk sewer line or interceptor. Said assessment will include sewer line tap.
(e) Any property owner wanting to tap into the extension after the project is complete must pay the assessment fee based on lot or lots footage.
(f) The assessment will be paid in full prior to the extension of a water main and/or trunk sewer line.
(g) Council must formally approve the petition for extension of a water main and/or trunk sewer line.
(h) Council has the ultimate discretion to deny any such petitions.
(i) The extension of the water main or trunk sewer line must follow all regulations of Sebring Division of Water and Sewer.
(j) The petition for the extension of water main and/or trunk sewer line will only be considered for all roads, alley, and utility easements platted before December 1979.
