In lieu of the payment of the license fee any person may forthwith furnish or cause to be furnished a bond subject to the approval of the Safety Director in the penal sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) payable to the Municipality, with not less than two sureties thereon satisfactory to the Safety Director.
