For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DEPARTMENT. The Village Light and Water Department.
PERSON. Any individual, firm, association, public or private corporation or public agency or instrumentality.
PREMISES. Each lot or parcel of land, building or premises having any connection to the water distribution system of the village.
SUPERINTENDENT. The Superintendent of the Department.
