§ 22-2-47 INTERSECTIONS; VEHICLES; RIGHT-OF-WAY.
   When two vehicles approach or enter an intersection at approximately the same time and the paths of such vehicles on the left shall yield the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right, unless otherwise directed by a traffic officer. The driver of a vehicle who intends to turn left within an intersection or into an alley, private road, or driveway shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction which is within the intersection or approaching so close as to constitute an immediate hazard. Provided, the operator of a vehicle approaching on a street or alley an intersection to which a yield sign pertains shall yield the right-of-way to every vehicle using the intersecting street, regardless of direction of travel and regardless of whether the latter vehicle is approaching from the left or right of the first-mentioned vehicle.
