§ 22-2-39 OVERTAKEN VEHICLE; YIELDING RIGHT-OF-WAY; INCREASING SPEED PROHIBITED.
   When the driver of a vehicle about to pass another vehicle traveling in the same direction has sounded a clearly audible horn, the driver of the vehicle about to be passed shall, unless the street is a four-lane street, turn to the right in favor of the overtaking vehicle, and the driver of the vehicle about to be passed shall not increase the speed of his or her vehicle until the overtaking vehicle has completed passing and has returned to the lane of traffic.
