Upon compliance of this article, the Planning and Building Official shall examine the application and the preliminary plat, if any, and examine or cause to be examined by the City Attorney the proof of ownership of the tract proposed to be subdivided. Thereafter, the application and the plat, if any, together with the recommendation of the Planning and Building Official, shall be submitted to the Planning Commission. Subsequent to a hearing thereon by the Planning Commission as provided by law, the application, the plat, if any, the recommendation of the Planning and Building Official, and the recommendation of the Planning Commission shall be submitted to the City Council.
