A sanitary sewer system, adequate to serve each of the lots in the subdivision, shall be constructed and connected to the sanitary sewer system of the city. The sewer mains and laterals shall comply as to type and size with such requirements, conformable to good engineering practice, as the Planning and Building Official shall prescribe; provided, sewer mains and laterals in no event shall be less than eight inches in diameter (inside measurement).
