§ 20-7-7 TREES; STREET.
   STREET TREES. Unless otherwise provided by ordinance, all trees and shrubs situated within the right-of-way of any public street of the city. A tree shall be deemed to be so situated if the trunk, or any part thereof, is situated within the right-of-way. A shrub shall be deemed to be so situated if any stem thereof, at the level of emergence from the ground, is situated within the right-of-way. Trees and shrubs which in the course of normal growth will become so situated shall be deemed to be so situated at the time of planting.
