Curb cuts for the passage of vehicles shall be not less than five inches in thickness. No curb cut shall be less than 20 feet from the point of intersection of the curb line with the curb line of an intersecting street, nor closer than the point of curve of the curb radius. Not more than one curb cut shall be provided for a private garage or driveway, or more than two curb cuts for a public garage. The phrases “private garage” and “public garage” shall be construed, for the purposes of this section, to have the meaning that they have in Chapter 25 of this code.
