§ 13-5-1 POLICE; RESISTING; HINDERING; REFUSAL TO ASSIST; PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly or willfully to hinder, obstruct, or resist any police officer or any police officer in making any arrest or performing any other duty of his or her office, or to refuse or neglect to assist any police officer or police officer when called upon by him or her in the making of any arrest, or the conveying of a prisoner to jail.
