It is a Class II violation to permit a nuisance to exist or continue in violation of this chapter or of any notice served as provided in this chapter. Each day on which a violation occurs shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. The provision defining each day as a separate offense shall not be applicable to nuisances described in § 12-1-3(R) of this chapter. In addition, the sentencing court may order such person to reimburse the city for the fair and reasonable costs incurred by the city in removing the nuisance.
