All employees and department staff of the Scottsbluff Fire Department hired after October 1, 2022, shall reside no more than 15 miles from the corporate limits of the city, provided, in any event, no employee or department staff shall reside no more than 30 minutes’ response time from the corporate limits of the city from the time of notification by the Fire Department as determined by the Fire Chief.
