§ 4-6-33 CITY OFFICIALS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS; LIABILITY; DEFENSE.
   No officer, or employee or agent of the city shall be personally liable for any damage that may accrue to persons or property as a result of any act required or permitted in the discharge of his or her office, employment, or agency under this article. Any suit brought against any officer, employee, or agent of the city as a result of any act required or permitted in the discharge of his or her duties under this article shall be defended by the City Attorney at the expense of the city until final determination of the proceedings therein.
