No electrical materials, devices, or equipment designed for attachment to or installation in any electrical circuit or system for television or radio antennas shall be installed or used unless they are in conformity with approved methods of construction for safety to life and property. As to matters not covered by the preceding provisions of this subchapter, all materials, devices, and equipment shall conform to the standards of the Underwriters’ Laboratories, Inc., or other qualified testing laboratories (as determined by the Chief Building Inspector) current as of the time of installation, and the installation thereof shall meet the requirements of the National Electrical Code. The provisions of this subchapter shall be deemed to be supplemental to all other provisions of the municipal code relating to the construction and maintenance of buildings and structures, and electrical work, and all television and radio transmission and receiving systems shall also conform to the requirements of the other provisions.
