LOT. A single building site or a single parcel of land designated as a lot on a subdivision plat, a record of survey map, or described as such by metes and bounds, having sufficient area to accommodate a main building authorized, with respect to its location, by the municipal code. It includes two or more previously separate lots, or parts of lots, combined as a single building site for use as a single parcel of land.
