§ 22-8-6 ORDERS AND SIGNALS; POLICE OFFICERS, CROSSING GUARDS, AND VOLUNTEERS; COMPLIANCE; REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to refuse or fail to comply with any lawful order, signal, or direction of a police officer, crossing guard, or volunteer with the Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) or Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), notwithstanding the presence of traffic signs, markers, or devices.
