§ 32.07  GRANTING PERMISSION TO LEAVE TOWN IN ABSENCE OF CHIEF.
   If the Chief of the Fire Department is unavailable to grant or deny permission for the Fire Department to go beyond the limits of the municipality, the Mayor is hereby authorized to grant or deny permission; and if both the Chief of the Fire Department and the Mayor are unavailable when request for assistance outside the town is made, the Town Administrator/Clerk shall have such authority. The Chief of the Fire Department is hereby directed to furnish to the office of the State Insurance Commissioner and to the Secretary of the North Carolina State Firemen’s Association a list of persons hereby authorized to grant or deny permission to the Fire Department to leave the municipality.
