The following territory be added to the Town of Scotland Neck, on the west, to wit:
Beginning at the western end of Twelfth Street; thence in a westerly direction and along the public road leading to Gallberry to the Canal Bridge; thence down the canal in a southerly direction and along said canal to a point where the extension of Ninth Street of said town would cross said canal; thence in an eastern direction a straight line parallel with the aforesaid public road to the present corporate limits of said town at a point, the end of Ninth Street.
