The Commissioners aforesaid, to wit: John Nichols, Eli C. Biggs and N. B. Josey, and their duly appointed successors in office, as hereinafter provided, shall be, and they are hereby incorporated and constituted a body politic and corporate, by the name and style of the Commissioners of the Town of Scotland Neck, and by that name and style shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, with all the rights, privileges, immunities and powers granted to and vested in corporations, by virtue of Chapter One Hundred and Eleven of the Revised Code of North Carolina.
