(A) The Chief of Police, subject to the Board of Commissioners, shall have charge of the Police Department and shall be responsible to the Board of Commissioners in seeing that the police officers faithfully perform their duties.
(B) The Chief of Police shall assign such duties to the police officers as he or she thinks best for the good order of the town.
(C) The Chief of Police shall see that the members of the Police Department present a neat and respectable appearance.
