(A) The present and future members of the Town Police Department (including auxiliary police officers) are hereby authorized to act as agents for property owners and tenants to enforce regulations against trespassing on private property located within the corporate limits of the town, upon specific request by such property owners or tenants, in accordance with the terms of the agency agreement set forth herein as Appendix A.
(B) This section shall be effective from and after September 1, 2000.
