The operator’s license shall be subject to revocation by any court of competent jurisdiction or by the Board of Commissioners upon the violation of any law of the state or any provision of this code or other ordinance of the town, or upon a finding by the court or Board of Commissioners, upon other causes, that the owner or driver is not a suitable person to own or operate a taxicab in the town. Pending action by the court or the Board of Commissioners, such license or permit shall be subject to revocation. The operator shall be notified when the revocation of his or her license will be considered by the Board of Commissioners, and he or she shall be given an opportunity to attend and be heard.
