§ 32.21 MEETINGS; ELECTION OF OFFICERS; DUTIES.
   (A)   Those in the Classified Service and in the Non-Classified Service of the Fire Department shall hold regular meetings, as provided in the rules prescribed pursuant to § 32.03. During a meeting held in the month of April each year, those in the Classified Service and in the Non-Classified Service of the Department shall elect a Secretary and Treasurer, who shall act in that capacity for a term of one (1) year. The duties of the Secretary and Treasurer shall be as specified in this section.
   (B)   The Secretary of the Fire Department shall keep minutes of all meetings of those in the Classified Service of the Department.
   (C)   Treasurer: Bond and Duties.
      (1)   The Treasurer of the Fire Department, before taking office, shall execute and file with the Village Clerk a sufficient bond in an amount to be determined from time to time by the Village President and Board of Trustees, in favor of the Village, to be approved by the President and Board, conditioned for the faithful performance of the Treasurer's duties.
      (2)   The Treasurer shall receive all money collected for and on behalf of the Department, including the tax or license fee for foreign fire insurance companies, and shall pay the same upon the order of the Department for the purpose of maintenance, use and benefit of the Department.
      (3)   The books, records and accounts of the Treasurer shall be kept faithfully and at all times shall be open to inspection and an audit of the President and Board of Trustees.
      (4)   At the expiration of a Treasurer's term of office, each such Treasurer shall surrender, pay and deliver to his or her successor in office all books, records, accounts and money held as Treasurer.
