The electrical regulations of this chapter shall not be construed to relieve from or lessen the responsibility of any person owning, operating or installing any electrical wires, appliances, apparatus, construction or equipment for damages to anyone injured by any defect therein by reason of the inspection authorized herein or the Certificate of Inspection issued by the Electrical Inspector, nor shall the Village be held liable for any damages resulting from the enforcement of the electrical regulations of the code.
