§ 70.207 PLATES AND WINDSHIELD STICKER.
   Each applicant, upon payment of the appropriate fee, shall be given a windshield sticker or license plate sticker, if a windshield sticker is not appropriate, of such design and material as may be approved by the President and Board of Trustees. Any such windshield sticker shall be affixed in the lower right-hand corner, on the inside of the glass part of the windshield of such motor vehicle approximately one inch from the right and lower section of the frame of such windshield at all times while the vehicle is operated, registered, owned or housed within the Village limits. In the alternative, any such license plate sticker shall be affixed to the license plate, at all times while the vehicle is operated, registered, owned or housed within the Village limits. No license plate sticker or windshield sticker issued hereunder shall be transferred from the vehicle for which it was issued to any other vehicle without prior notification to, and approval of the transfer, from the Village Clerk. This section does not apply to antique vehicles, as defined by the Illinois State Vehicle Code (625 ILCS 5).
