§ 70.178 SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS ON LAMPS.
   Except as provided in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 12-215:
   (A)   No person shall drive or move any vehicle or equipment upon any highway with any lamp or device thereon displaying a red light visible from directly in front thereof.
   (B)   Subject to the restrictions in § 70.104(D), flashing lights are prohibited on motor vehicles except as a means for indicating a right or left turn or the presence of a vehicular traffic light hazard requiring unusual care in approaching overtaking or passing.
