(A) The 2021 edition of the International Energy Conservation Code, as promulgated and published by the International Code Council is hereby adopted. This code shall herein be known as the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code or 2021 IECC.
(B) The 2021 International Energy Conservation Code is amended hereby as follows:
(1) The words "Village of Schiller Park" shall be inserted wherever the words "(name of jurisdiction)" appears.
(2) The term "code official" shall include the "Building Official" and/or the "Director of Community Development" of the Village of Schiller Park.
(3) Chapter 6 (CE) and Chapter 6 (RE), titled as "Referenced Standards" is hereby amended to delete all reference to the International Plumbing Code and insert in place thereof the Illinois Plumbing Code.
(4) Chapter 6 (CE) and Chapter 6 (RE), titled as "Referenced Standards" is amended to delete all reference to the International Electrical Code.
(5) Appendices CA, CB, and CC are hereby deleted in their entirety.
(6) Appendices RA, RB, and RC are hereby deleted in their entirety.
