(A) The 2021 edition of the International Fuel Gas Code, as promulgated and published by the International Code Council is hereby adopted. This code shall herein be known as the 2021 International Fuel Gas Code or 2021 IFGC.
(B) The 2021 International Fuel Gas Code is amended hereby as follows:
(1) The words "Village of Schiller Park" shall be inserted wherever the words "(name of jurisdiction)" appears.
(2) As used throughout the Code adopted by reference hereby, the "code official" shall mean the Village Building Official and/or the Director of Community Development of the Village of Schiller Park.
(3) Sections 103.2 and 103.3 are amended in their entireties hereby so that hereafter the said Sections 103.2 and 103.3 shall be and read as follows:
"103.2 Code official: The Village Building Official and/or the Director of Community Development of the Village of
Schiller Park (including their authorized agents and representatives).
103.3 Deputy code official: Collectively, all of the duly authorized agents and representatives of the Code Official who shall have and exercise all powers of the Code Official during the temporary absence or disability of the Code Official."
(4) Sections 109.5 and 109.6 are amended in their entireties to read as follows:
"109.5 Fee schedule. The fees for work as indicated shall be paid as required in accordance with the most recent fee schedule approved by resolution by the President and Board of Trustees.
109.6 Fee refunds. The code official shall authorize the refunding of fees in accordance with the most recent fee schedule approved by resolution by the President and Board of Trustees."
(5) Section 113 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 113 shall be and read as follows:
"SECTION 113 (IFGC)
MEANS OF APPEAL
113.1 Board of appeals. The President and Board of Trustees shall serve as the Board of Appeals."
(6) Section 116 shall be amended to include Section 116.5 and Section 116.6 that read as follows:
116.5 Violation penalties. All references to penalties shall be paid in accordance with the most recent fee schedule approved by resolution by the President and Board of Trustees
116.6 Stop work orders. All references to stop work order fines shall paid be in accordance with the most recent fee schedule approved by resolution by the President and Board of Trustees."
(7) Chapter 8, entitled "Referenced standards", is amended to delete all reference to the "International Plumbing Code" and insert in place thereof the "Illinois Plumbing Code".
(8) Chapter 8, entitled "Referenced standards", is amended to delete all reference to the "International Zoning Code", and the "International Electrical Code"."
(9) Appendix A is adopted in its entirety and Appendices B, C, D, and E are deleted in their entireties.
