§ 150.002 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE; AMENDMENTS ADOPTED.
   (A)   The ICC International Fire Code/2006, published by the International Code Council, Inc., one copy of which is on file in the office of the Village Clerk, is adopted and incorporated as part of this Code as if set out at length and in full herein.
   (B)   The International Fire Code/2006, is amended hereby as follows:
      (1)   The words "Village of Schiller Park" shall be inserted wherever the words "(name of jurisdiction)" appears.
      (2)   As used throughout the Code adopted by reference hereby, the "Building Official" shall mean the Fire Chief.
      (3)   Sections 103.2 and 103.3 are amended in their entireties hereby; so that hereafter the said Sections 103.2 and 103.3 shall be and read as follows:
      "103.2 Fire code official. The Fire Chief of the Village of Schiller Park (including his authorized agents and representatives).
      103.3 Deputy fire code official. Collectively, all of the duly authorized agents and representatives of the Fire Code Official who shall have and exercise all powers of the Fire Code Official."
      (4)   Section 108 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Sections 108 shall be and read as follows:
      "SECTION 108
      
BOARD OF APPEALS
      108.1 Board of appeals. The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Schiller Park shall serve as the Board of Appeals."
      (5)   Section 109.3 shall be amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 109.3 shall be and read as follows:
      "109.3 Penalties. All penalties shall be paid in accordance with the most recent fee schedule approved by resolution by the President and Board of Trustees."
      (6)   Section 111.4 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 111.4 shall be and read as follows:
      "111.4 Stop work. All stop work order fines shall paid be in accordance with the most recent fee schedule approved by resolution by the President and Board of Trustees."
      (7)   Section 903.4.1 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 903.4.1 shall be and read as follows:
      "903.4.1 Fire suppression systems. The Permittee shall comply with the applicable provisions of the Village of Schiller Park alarm ordinance in effect at the time of permit application."
      (8)   Section 907.15 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that the said Section 907.15 shall be and read as follows:
      "907.15 Fire alarm systems: The Permittee shall comply with the applicable provisions of the Village of Schiller Park alarm ordinance in effect at the time of permit application."
      (9)   Section 3304.1 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 3304.1 shall be and read as follows:
      "3304.1 General. Pursuant to Section 92.05 of Chapter 92 of the New Millennium Code of the Village of Schiller Park, as amended, the storage of explosives and blasting agents is prohibited."
      (10)   Section 3305.1 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 3305.1 shall be and read as follows:
      "3305.1 General. Pursuant to Section 92.05 of Chapter 92 of the New Millennium Code of the Village of Schiller Park, as amended, the manufacture, assembly and testing of explosives, and explosive materials and fireworks is prohibited."
      (11)   Section 3308 is amended to include an additional section, Section 3308.12; so that hereafter the said Section 3308.12 to be contained in Section 3308 shall be and read as follows:
      "Section 3308.12. The applicable provisions of the Village of Schiller Park fireworks ordinance contained in Chapter 92 of the New Millennium Code of the Village of Schiller Park, as amended, shall apply."
      (12)   Section 3404.1 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 3404.1 shall be and read as follows:
      "3404.1 General. The storage of flammable and combustible liquids in containers and tanks shall be in accordance with this section and the applicable sections of Chapter 27. The limits referred to in this section in which storage of flammable liquids in outside, above-grade storage is limited per Section 92.06 of the New Millennium Code of the Village of Schiller Park, as amended.
      Storage of flammable liquids in outside, above-grade tanks within all areas zoned within the R-1, R-2, R-2/O, R-3, R-4, C-1, C-2, C-3, and C-4 HRO Districts under the Zoning Ordinance is hereby prohibited.
      In all areas zoned within the I-1 and I-2 Districts under the Zoning Ordinance in addition to the requirements of this Chapter, the storage of flammable liquids in outside above-ground tanks shall not be located closer than 400 feet to a residentially zoned area, and not more than one such tank, which shall not exceed 30,000 gallons, shall be located on any given lot of record."
      (13)   Section 3406.4 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 3406.4 shall be and read as follows:
      "3406.4. Bulk plants or terminals. Portions of properties where flammable and combustible liquids are received by tank vessels, pipelines, tank cars or tank vehicles and which are stored or blended in bulk for the purpose of distributing such liquids by tank vessels, pipelines, tanks cars, tank vehicles or containers shall be in accordance with Sections 3406.4.1 through 3406.4.10.4 and Section 92.07 of the New Millennium Code of the Village of Schiller Park, as amended, establishing the requirements for bulk plants. In all areas zoned within the R-1, R-2, R-2/O, R-3, R-4, C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4 HRO, I-1 and I-2 Districts of the Zoning Ordinance, the use of any lot for a bulk plant is prohibited."
      (14)   Section 3804.1 is amended in its entirety hereby; so that hereafter the said Section 3804.1 shall be and read as follows:
      "3804.1 General. The storage and handling of LP-gas and the installation and maintenance of related equipment shall comply with the NFPA 58 and be subject to the approval of the fire code official, except as provided in this Chapter. The limits referred to in this Chapter in which the bulk storage of liquefied petroleum gas is limited per Ordinance 92.08, as follows.
      All areas zoned in the R-1, R-2, R-3, R-4 C-1, C-2, C-3, and C-4 HRO Districts under the Zoning Ordinance is hereby prohibited.
      In all areas zoned within the I-1 and I-2 Districts under the Zoning Ordinance in addition to the requirements of this Chapter, the bulk storage of liquefied petroleum gas shall not be located closer than 400 feet to a residentially zoned area, and not more than one such tank, which shall not exceed 30,000 gallons, shall be located on any given lot of record."
      (15)   Chapter 45, entitled "Referenced Standards", is amended to delete all reference to the "International Plumbing Code" and insert in place thereof the "Illinois Plumbing Code", 2014 edition.
      (16)   Chapter 45, entitled "Referenced Standards", is amended to delete all reference to the "International Existing Building Code", the "International Zoning Code", and the "International Electrical Code"."
      (17)   Appendices D, E, F, and G are adopted in their entireties and Appendices A, B, and C are deleted in their entireties.
      (18)   Section 903.3.7 is amended to include at the end of the paragraph the following language: “All Fire Department connections shall be NST 4-inch Stortz connections with a 30- degree downturn (Stortz type only).
