The following uses are permitted in the R-1 Single-Family Residence District:
(A) Single-family dwellings;
(B) Except upon zoning lots within five hundred (500) feet of any R-3, R-4, C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, I-1 or I-2 District, religious institutions, as follows:
(1) Churches, chapels, temples and synagogues;
(2) Rectories, parsonages, parish houses and convents.
(C) Accessory uses and buildings incidental to and on the same zoning lot as a principal use, as follows:
(1) Garages;
(2) Home occupations;
(3) Storage of building materials and equipment, and temporary buildings for construction purposes, for a period not to exceed the duration of such construction;
(4) Swimming pools and tennis courts, private (non-commercial); and
(5) Toolhouses, sheds and other similar buildings for the storage of domestic supplies.
